It's been a day of impeachment hearings and concerns over a new virus imported from China. In fact, China figures in several of our stories today:
Not going to give up plastic says Coca-Cola;
Yet another retail chain closing stores;
Did the FAA do a "sweetheart" deal for Southwest;
The fallout from two years of a trade war coming home to roost;
Vaccine stocks were up...think China;
The Wall Street Report;
Worst City - Best City to grow up in the U.S. and why.
Those stories plus a riveting conversation about cannabis production in the United States. You'll meet John Haas from Phoenix, Arizona who tells me it's worse than the wild west when it comes to nearly everything concerning the growing of cannabis...and he's a grower. You can catch that here.

The "Wild West" of Cannabis Production
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
It's all over the news as states ramp up efforts to make legal both the medical use and recretional use of cannabis. While in Arizona for a meeting I met John Haas who comes from a long work history in agriculture. He is now working on growing cannabis for CBD products. While, on the outside, it looks like this is a solid business John says it is really the wild west where investors have lost millions of dollars. We think you'll enjoy his frank comments.

Those stories and a return visit from attorney George Isaacson who was with us by phone several months ago. I caught up with him in Maricopa Arizona during a speaking engagement to the National Tractor Parts Dealer Association on the impact of sales tax collection by states, counties, cities and others and what that is doing to online retailers and what should be done about the issue. I think you'll also find the history behind the Constitution very interesting. Listen here.

Retail Online Sales Tax - A Nightmare for Sellers
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Back in November we promised you a return conversation with attorney George Isaacson from Brann & Isaacson a law firm in Maine. Mr. Isaacson represents multi–channel marketers and electronic merchants throughout the United States in connection with state sales, use and income tax matters, as well as regulatory issues. I sat down with George in Maricopa, Arizona where he was speaking to members of the National Tractor Parts Dealer Association about the impact that 12,000 tax entities in the United States has on the economics of small and medium size companies. What he says will shock you and how to fix it may give those of you selling on the Internet some...hope.
