Two things to do: First, if you own or manage a small business you've got to listen to this short segment about National Small Business Week and a virtual presentation starting on the 13th. And, pay close attention to the new guidelines for gaining capitol for your small business. And, second, if you know a person who owns or manages a small business send this link to them. Trillions of dollars were poured into the national economy to keep small businesses afloat and even in Iowa there were 173,000 loans totaling eight billion dollars.  A massive effort and we'll also take a peek at what she believes is in the future for Main Street.

Yesterday we reported that it was likely the IRS would push back the federal filing date from April 15...and today that happened.  Welcome to the business news headlines for Wednesday the 17th of March...St. Patrick's Day.  Here's what we've got:

For decades the United States has followed the notion that if you give wealthy people more money they, in turn, will create good paying jobs. For those of you who remember it was called "Trickle Down Economics". Recently President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan that gets substantial dollars into the hands of consumers.
