The newspaper business has had a tough time. Over 2,000 have shut their doors and nearly 150 counties in the United States are without a news paper. Recently Gannett instituted new business guidelines for reading content. Here I sit down with Carol Hunter the Executive Editor of the Des Moines Register to talk about that and more about the future of the newspaper business from staffing to reporting and even some politics.
