Congressman Ro Khanna on The Amazon Minimum Wage Hike

One of the legislators who put pressure on Amazon to increase its minimum wage is Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA). In the end Jeff Bezos announced that Amazon would pay $15 an hour to start. A day later Amazon announced it would no longer offer bonuses to it's employees. We asked for a reaction and got it. Also we talked about children and poverty not only nationwide but in Iowa. Volunteers - An Important Part of the 370,000 Members of AARP-Iowa

We sit down with Brad Anderson the State Director for AARP-Iowa and talk about several items and then get into how the organization uses volunteers to serve the 370,000 Iowans who are members. To bolster that fact we also meet Don Corrigan who has been an AARP-Iowa volunteer for nearly two decades. Plus he is wearing a cool shirt.
