A Champion for Diversity, Equality & Inclusion - Meet Michele Shelton

Last month, while speaking at EntreFest 2022 I met Louisville native Michele Shelton in the elevator. A Rare Business Model for the Media - Liz Kennedy from The Gazette

Nothing ever happens by accident. I'm reviewing interview notes during EntreFest held this year in Iowa City, Iowa when a woman sees my press badge. Turns out Liz Kennedy is in charge of digital media for The Cedar Rapids Gazette. That led to this conversation about Iowa Ideas a multi day virtual event covering significant health issues impacting Iowans. (Yes, you can attend!) There is a shocking story about who owns the Gazette (which sheds new light on how they cover the news) and how badly they want your ideas and input. And, if that's not enough there is a fall (October 13-14) Iowa Ideas virtual event with the keynote being none other than the famous Simon Estes. So much to unpack here...enjoy. I sure did!
