Jobs, Employers, Ames and Chris Stonick

The Des Moines Metro and Diversity

Long before it became important for business to talk about the critical nature diversity plays in society the Greater Des Moines Partnership was working on spreading that news. Her involvement with GiGi's Playhouse - Down Syndrome Achievement Center began when a family member gave birth to a child with Down. That event set her on a path of volunteerism and activity on behalf of individuals and families. Here we talk about GiGi's Playhouse; what it does, why, and who is involved.
