Immigrant Heritage Month with Sanjita and Takur

Far too often the national discourse about immigrants tends to the negative. The Greater Des Moines Partnership thinks that is a mistake and that immigrants coming to Central Iowa can be and are responsible for a host of positive economic outcomes. To talk about that we invited Sanjita Pradhan the Program Director of Talent Development for the Partnership and Thakur Naupane. Both were refugees that came to Iowa and both have a great story to tell. We should add that Thakur came to the United States at 17, went to Job Corps and a few months ago opened up Kathmandu Restaurant. Enjoy this story we think it's much better than what we so often hear.
