The Business News Headlines and an International Guest 11 October 2023
Welcome to the Wednesday Edition of the Business News Headlines for this the 11th day of October. Glad you're here again. The markets jumped up and down early in the session but then investors got wind that the Central Bank may be pausing any benchmark interest rate hikes for at least until later. That did have an impact. Also, make sure you click ahead for our interview with Willem Cornelisse from The Netherlands about an important substance key to so much manufacturing. While the substance is a danger during manufacturing there is no substitute available yet. Should the ban happen some key manufactured components would be hit very hard. Meanwhile, if you want to reach us on social media and if you're on Threads you can find us @Insight_On_Business. And you can hook up with us all day on Twitter or "X" @IOB_NewsHour and on Instagram.
