The Business News Headlines 9 August 2019
Try as it might Wall Street ended the week down with the Dow closing off by over 90 points the Nasdaq off by 80 points and the S&P 500 dipped by over 19 points. The issue? Trade and we cover that first. In other business news:
- Guns and Teachers;
- Guns and options;
- These states will start K-Mart and Sears liquidation;
- The Canadian credit card story you are not going to believe.
Those stories and a look at Stuff to DO in the Metro this weekend into next week with Jeff Pitts and Trevor Babcock of Cityview Magazine. We're talking sports, the Iowa State Fair, movies and a bunch more. Expect NOTHING serious here.
Thanks for listening!
