The Business Journal Awards from Cityview Magazine

Recently Cityview Magazine's Business Journal held a special event honoring nineteen individuals for their outstanding work in the Greater Des Moines Metro. Nineteen people whom the Business Journal says are "making a difference" in 2019. We were there and spoke to a number of the recipients following the gala celebration. While we couldn't get to them all we did visit with:

• Shane Goodman - Owner/Publisher of Cityview
• Michele Starkenburg of Ankeny, Iowa
• E.J. Giovannetti a long-time Urbandale community servant;
• Jim Miller a financial planner and Waukee community leader;
• Jackie Norris the President/CEO of Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa;
• Christine Osborne the General Manager of Christopher's Fine Jewelry;
• Scott Seeliger of Cognizant’s Global Corporate Affairs Team;
• Luis Cruz the General Manager of Mickey's Irish Pub;
• Dan Knoup the Executive Director of the Greater Des Moines Homebuilders.
