Taking the Country to Town

It's happening in Franklin County, Iowa on the 15th of January.  Our friend Larry Sailer has spent a year organizing an event that puts country folks into town and helps each better understand the other.  The key-note speaker is yet another friend of ours and of agriculture Celeste Settrini from Salinas, California who describes herself as a "cattle baroness, self proclaimed fashionista who promotes all things agriculture.  We spent some time talking about the event and why they feel every chamber, even those in the Metro, should have an "Ag Committee".  Our conversation:
