Affordable Housing Crisis in the Des Moines Metro

The Greater Des Moines Metro has gotten all sorts of positive press from across the nation about how wonderful the area is, how open we are to new ideas and that here is where people should plant their flag. All of that is true...however there is a crisis in affordable housing among a significant segment of the population. Eric Burmeister from the Polk County Housing Trust Fund joins us for that discussion and offers short term and long term solutions to the issue. Our conversation:
