This interview with Sister Simone Campbell of Nuns on the Bus covers all three areas. The Nuns kicked off a voter registration drive into several states from Des Moines and had with them Vice President Joe Biden.  We asked Sister Simone how that came to be and many other questions. Insight on Business the News Hour is heard local and live each day between 5PM and 6PM on 1350-KRNT, Des Moines.  But, we know you can't always listen on our time so we've created this podcast so you can listen on your time.  We leave out the news but include the interviews.In this broadcast we visit with Rich Eychaner of Eichaner Properties and the founder of the Eychaner Foundation which promotes tolerance and non-discrimination.  We spent some time talking about the 149 scholarships the foundation has given out as well as the special screening of Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine which takes place on Wednesday evening.  Big things happening and we were grateful that Rich could find some time to be with us.In the Second half-hour we visited with Martha Willits about the Polk County Courthouse Proposal. This $81 million proposal to re-build and re-purpose the 106 year old courthouse goes before the voters on November 5th. Sound reasoning from Martha.
