Coming up before the Des Moines, Iowa City Council on Monday 24 September is a plan to adopt a "Complete Streets" program for the city. What is it and how has AARP-Iowa motivated their membership to get involved in calling their city council person in support of the project? Good questions...here we sit down with Don Corrigan a volunteer with AARP-Iowa and he tells us what the project is, what it will do for business as well as residents and those visiting the city. The goal is to show what can be done to encourage a redesign of auto-dominated roads and create a more livable community and a more vibrant commercial area.
