It was a wild day for not only business but the news cycle. Aren't you glad we don't do politics? Today we're taking a look at several big news stories from cars to the Fed. Here you go:

Coming up before the Des Moines, Iowa City Council on Monday 24 September is a plan to adopt a "Complete Streets" program for the city. What is it and how has AARP-Iowa motivated their membership to get involved in calling their city council person in support of the project? Good questions...here we sit down with Don Corrigan a volunteer with AARP-Iowa and he tells us what the project is, what it will do for business as well as residents and those visiting the city. Livable Communities - Grand Avenue in Des Moines with AARP - Iowa

The goal is to show what can be done to encourage a redesign of auto-dominated roads and create a more livable community and a more vibrant commercial area.
