This week ten speakers had fifteen minutes to bring their “A Game” on Leadership and Business to an audience eager to learn about both. The event was put together by Tom Henrickson…sort of a mini-Ted talk. After the event, which lasted only three hours…I sat down with four of the presenters and asked them about a quote they offered during their presentation. Grinnell College Award to Rob Barron

This year Grinnell College has awarded the Joseph F. Wall Alumni Service Award and $30,000 to Rob Barron a 2002 graduate who co-founded the Latino Political Network. Listen as Rob shares the fact that out of 7,500 elected positions in Iowa there are only twelve Latinos serving their communities. "Something was not right so we created a vehicle in which we could offer some basic education regarding public service..."
