We had the opportunity to broadcast from and record a number of interviews at the recent convention and education event of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). During that time we were surprised at how many people in cities and villages across the United States are working on issues like wage growth, affordable housing, skills training, employment opportunities and issues of equality. DMDC 2018 Day Two

It was a busy day here in Washington D.C. on Day Two of the Greater Des Moines Partnership annual DMDC trip. Here I'll recap some of the highlights of our congressional meeting from this morning and this afternoon. Sen. Charles Grasley (R-IA), Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), Congressman Dave Loebsack (D-IA), Congressman Steve King (R-IA), Congressman Rod Blum (R-IA) and Congressman David Young (R-IA) spoke to nearly 200 in attendance and I'll hit the high points. Then at noon we heard from Congressman Seth Moulton (D-Mass) who share ideas and suggestions and actually stood and took many questions. Click through and listen!
