In the book, The Broken Heart Diet, by author Tom Formaro there is a scene where San Francisco chef Dante Palermo, who has lost the love of his life and owns a restaurant in the North Beach neighborhood, comes up with an idea for a dinner party for singles. Taking the Country to Town
