Proving that we, indeed, are in a global economy and what something like this means not only for the fellows but also the educators and Drake students.

School Supplies, Kids and the Walnut Creek YMCA

As personal and school budgets tighten there is a greater need for folks like the Walnut Creek YMCA to do fund raising, collection and distribution of school supplies to kids who really need them. Meet Joanna Gilmore the Youth Development Coordinator for the Walnut Creek YMCA as she shares with us their effort to meet the growing demand of getting school supplies in the hands of families.
