The Hawkeye Safety Conference Is For...Everybody

Coming up on 11 October it's the 5th Annual Hawkeye Safety Conference to be held in Iowa City. The conference, in it's 5h year, was created when the Iowa State Building and Construction Trades Council was aware of two workplace deaths in the span of just a few months. Partnering with The Heartland Center at the University of Iowa the Hawkeye Safety Conference was born. Open to any Iowa business it's a full day of education and training. The Wave, University of Iowa and Social Media Club Des Moines

Next week the Social Media Club - Des Moines will hold a special event centered on The Wave. You saw The Wave this past weekend from Kinnick Stadium when fans, players, coaches, officials all turn and wave for several minutes at patients and families at the University Children's Hospital.
