And while this conversation has political underpinnings what Jaylin Cavil has to say about a host of issues has a direct impact on economic growth, jobs, financial security and productivity. Jaylin is with the Black Liberation Movement. You would also know them as Black Lives Matter. Each Friday afternoon we sit down with the managing editor of Cityview Magazine, Jeff Pitts and chat it up about some hyper-local "Stuff to DO" in the Greater Des Moines Metro. And, yes we often take a detour with commentary. So, what are some of the things we're talking about:  The Des Moines Bucs play Friday and Saturday. The Hawks are playing basketball on Saturday morning. Drake basketball is off to a great season. Gena Gedler is going to be at Noce and, nope, not Jewish. Hey...I tried. In our continuing series of profiling entrepreneurs who have launched since the start of COVID19 we get this hyper-local story about DoughCo Pizza with Alec Davis part of a team behind the new local brand. Alec, along with his brother Evan and friend Sam Hoyle ramped up this restaurant in the Drake University Neighborhood. We were interested in his the back-story and why open in a vertical that already has an enormous failure rate even without a pandemic.  Meet Alec...
