We went looking for a business that could be a model for others and found Reliable Aftermarket Parts of Michigan and it's owner Tom Salisbury.  Having started the business in 2009 in his home to becoming a world-wide supplier of aftermarket parts for construction and agriculture...well, it's something to talk about.  But, we're not done there because the State of Michigan has also taken notice. Insight on Business the News Hour with Michael Libbie is heard Monday - Friday starting at 5PM on 1350-KRNT, Des Moines, Iowa. It is the only hour long business news broadcast in the region.  We focus on local news and interviews with business news-makers.  You can follow us on Facebook or on Twitter.  Today, along with the local business news we had these interviews:We spoke with Mark Pierce the stadium announcer for the Iowa Cubs and newly tapped arena announcer for the Iowa Wild hockey team.  Good stuff from Mark. Then we visited with Scott Casber the arena voice of the Iowa Barnstormers and the Iowa Energy.  He is also Mr.Wrestling and we talked about the recent Olympic decision regarding the sport.In the second half hour Tim Clark from the Amish Haus was in to talk about small business tips and his experience of opening a business during the recession.   Loads of stuff from Tim...We cut out the news of the day...because that was...yesterday.  Thank you for listening and if you have a business news story for us send it along to IoBNewsroom@gmail.com.

We think we have this figured out!  We have been posting the entire News Hour and realize that often the news we are sharing in the Podcast is "yesterday's news" so we've eliminated much of the news content and bring you the interview portions of the broadcast.  It takes us awhile...The first interview is with Jonnie Wright from The UnSecret Shopper on the BuyOSphere.
