We're going nowhere fast. We kick things off today with the speculation the U.S. Central Bank will delay cuts to it's preferred lending rate until late this year...if at all. The issue is that inflation continues to be well above the Fed's target of 2%. One has to wonder if that target is realistic. Meanwhile, later in the newscast, we have a story about how job seekers are demanding even more money that usual to switch jobs and that does not help the situation. And, a reminder, you can hook up with us all day on Twitter or "X" @IOB_NewsHour and on Instagram. Facebook? Sure were there too. Here's what we've got for you today:
The grim prospect of a lack of rate cuts;
Southern Governors warn about joining a union;
More consumer protection regarding air travel;
Truth Social continues to bleed even with new features;
The Wall Street Report;
Job seekers seek much higher pay levels and why;
The pay-gap between men and women continues to widen.
And if you missed our segment on firearms and firearm safety, which was a big download yesterday here is that link.
Thanks for listening!

Yes, it is the day before Valentine's Day...you have been notified. Today in the Business News Headlines we've got a couple of romantic business stories for you, a look at the disaster that happened on Wall Street and a conversation with Henry Arrowood the Colorado founder of Farmshare.co. It's a company that Henry says is a "business in a box" that enables farmers and ranchers to make more from their beef while helping consumers and restaurants know exactly where their meat comes from. Yes, it's a trend. And, if you want to reach us on social media and if you're on Threads you can find us @Insight_On_Business. And you can hook up with us all day on Twitter or "X" @IOB_NewsHour and on Instagram. Facebook? Sure were there too. Here's what we've got for you today:

As well as loans to Black-Owned businesses;
The inflation report is out and we'll share;
Lab grown diamonds are a thing. But, there is a but;

The Wall Street Report;
What says romance more than your...credit score?
For the interview the very talented Henry Arrowood the founder of Farmshare.co. Consumers want to know where their beef is coming from and restaurants also know this so Henry has created a way to track all of this plus give producers a "business in a box". And, make sure you listen to his experience working at a Montana ranch...a place where he saw first hand the hard work and low prices may producers experience. To hear that conversation click this link.
