More Than Words with Kirsten D. Anderson

We recorded this conversation before her book was out. Meet Kirsten Anderson speaker and now author of "More than Words - Turn Me Too into I Said Something". For some of you you may remember that Kirsten delt with workplace ssexual harassment while at the Iowa Legislature. Those issues prompted legal action and Kirsten was awarded $1.75 million. Here we talk, a bit about that, but more importantly why she wrote the book. She will tell you this is a "how to" book for people who are dealing with workplace harassment. The Windsor Heights, Iowa Book Fair with Tyler Granger

Sometimes, even though we have an international audience, we get to do some hyper-local things and that's what you're getting today.  Why? Because we think this is such a neat idea we hope that someone in another town, state or nation might pick up on the idea and do a local book fair where you live. Okoboji Writers Retreat 2.0 with Julie Gammack

Last year when my friend, journalist and entrepreneur, Julie Gammack called to invite me to attend the Okoboji Writers Retreat I was happy to say "Yes!". I figured that maybe 50 writers, speakers, creators might show up.  Uhm...I was wrong. Over 120 folks showed up to listen, learn and get motivated to create.
