From Standup to Serious Business meet Garrison Wynn

Recently while covering the National Tractor Parts Dealer Association (NTPDA) Annual Conference and Trade Show held, this year, in San Diego I was able to take in a presentation by author and speaker Garrison Wynn. He offered those who attended a master class on leadership, influencing people and generational differences in the workplace. Garrison started his stage career as a standup comic but now, for 28 years, he speaks on a number of serious business topics but you can see a bit of that standup sneak through.  We talked about that and more in this conversation. Love of Books - Tyler Granger and the Windsor Heights Book Fair

Once again we sat down with author and entrepreneur Tyler Granger and talked about the Second Annual Windsor Heights Book Fair that will be held on Sunday, October 1st. It will be held at 1141 69th Street in Windsor Heights, Iowa. On hand between Noon and 6PM will be several dozen authors from across the state. Visitors can visit with them and learn more about their work. Here, in this interview, I ask Tyler what drives him to do this massive project, who his partners are, how he has marketed the event and more. Banning Books. A Good Idea for Recruitment & Retention of Workers?

At a time when the State of Iowa is having worker shortages in nearly every segment from teachers to tech the government here doubles down on a host of issues that drive people away or think twice about relocating to the state.  It's truly a business issue.
