It is good to be back with you.  It's been quite the week here.  Early on Tuesday morning our studio and offices were flooded with close to an inch of water during a storm that dumped two-inches in under twenty minutes. That was followed by a storm that knocked out power for 23 hours. Combining the water damage clean up and clearing trees it was a full 23 hours...we were not bored. Meet Actor Andy Buckley from The Office and More 23 May 2024

We were at the Central Iowa Business Conference chatting with a host of individuals including the morning keynote speaker Andy Buckley. If that name sounds familiar it should. Andy was one of the actors on The Office that ran for several years. Since then Andy has added to his IMDb body of work and is not with Arnold Schwarzenegger in a Netflix production of FUBAR and yes, another comedy. We talked about how The Office was really his "side gig", his famous Bride, Nancy Banks who is an acting coach and more. I came away from this thinking he's really a nice guy and so easy to talk with. Meet Andy Buckley:

We've had the pleasure of knowing Brent Roske filmmaker, TV host and the creator of The Flamingo Network on Roku for years. We first met when he was doing his syndicated show "Roske on Politics" which is resuming this year. He recently launched The Flamingo Network on Roku with films "Diana in Love" and "Art on Wheels" both of which we'll talk about in this conversation. Author, Livestock Illustrator and Ranch Hand meet CJ Brown

Recently we attended the Iowa Cattlemen's Beef Expo at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. We were there to visit with cattle producers and take in the trade show. One of the booths that caught our attention was filled with very detailed images of farm and ranch scenes. So fine that, at first we thought they were photographs.  But, no...it is art work created by the very talented livestock illustrator CJ Brown.  CJ not only creates these amazing portraits but she also writes books and loves to talk about beef production in the U.S. You can see her work here but first, listen to her story.
