June - A Month of Respect and Honor for Refugees and Immigrants

Throughout the month of June many communities will be holding special events to mark World Refugee Day on June 20. Here the Refugee Alliance of Central Iowa has lots of ways to learn and to celebrate. From a special screening of "Flee" to a "Learning Walk" around Colby Park in Windsor Heights and a wonderful listing of restaurants and events that are taking place.
