Meet Author Mike Triggs of You Can’t Make this $#!+ Up
Friday Feb 24, 2023
Friday Feb 24, 2023
When I read the liner notes that said his new book was a "laugh out loud read" I had some doubts. What could be funny about being outed from GOP politics, hinted that the reason was AIDS and not being able to find a job outside of retail? Well, be prepared to truly enjoy this book and...laugh out loud. I sat down with Mike Triggs to listen to his amazing journey and his book that has a surprise ending. You can buy the book locally at Beaverdale Books, Barns & Noble and online at Amazon. But, I'd really like it if you head to the locally owned Beaverdale Books where he'll have a reading and meet the author event on March 13.
Thanks for listening!

Sometimes, even though we have an international audience, we get to do some hyper-local things and that's what you're getting today. Why? Because we think this is such a neat idea we hope that someone in another town, state or nation might pick up on the idea and do a local book fair where you live. Here you'll meet Tyler Granger from Windsor Heights, Iowa who has put together a book fair featuring Iowa writers ranging from history to news to romance to mystery to children's books. He has done a masterful job in promoting the event as well. The event is on October 3rd starting at noon and HERE is a link to that Facebook Page.
