Insight On Business the News Hour

The Business News Headlines and More 13 August 2019

All the overnight signs pointed to a down open on Wall Street...but NOPE not today. A strong opening caused by some changes in the U.S. China trade war and some of that had to do with...toys. Thanks for joining us..here's what's on tap:

  • The U.S. and China spat took a breather today;
  • Being rich is...good;
  • Got a Funko-Pop?  Don't know? It's a story;
  • Boeing on the other end of business;
  • So, you wanna own a food truck? Some numbers;
  • The job market...explained.

Those stories plus a conversation about the upcoming Central Iowa Business Conference with Todd McDonald and Leisa Fox. This is the third year for the event and we've given it the hashtag of #CIBC19 because, well, nobody else has that we can find. Listen to that conversation here.
