This is Insight on Business the News Hour with Michael Libbie our daily look at the business news of the Des Moines Metro. On the podcast we bring you only the interview portions that were heard live on 1350-KRNT, Des Moines.

Our guests today included State Senator Jack Hatch from Des Moines. Senator Hatch is seeking the Democratic nomination to run for Governor of Iowa.  We talk about his business experience as well as his abilities and ideas for economic development. We then visited with Jacki Boldt from DMACC who is the regional director of the Dream Big - Grow Here small business contest.  Then, in the second half-hour we welcomed Chris Coleman from the Better Business Bureau and a driving force behind the Beverdale Neighborhood re-development project. It's more than a face lift.
